The activities of ipisa originated more than 30 years ago in the production and manufacturing of PVC vinyl films. Substantial growth, attributed to customer demand is the driving force behind the sucess of ipisa. The demand for aql(acceptable quality level) and the desire to be competitive in international markets, success not only enjoyed by ipisa, but for their clients as well.

The facilities of ipisa have been modified for versatility, and the desire to manufacture better quality products to keep up with rapidly changing markets. The facility of ipisa, consist of 3 calendar lines, with flexibility to produce, rigid unplastisized films, as well as semi-rigid, and flexible PVC films. A printer and laminator for conversion and slitters to produce custom finish widths.

Products and applications. -

PVC is one of the most versatile polymers, witch permits great success in a variety of applications. The characteristics of the film, made by this thermoplastic are divers, regarding rigidity and flexibility. The ability to produce transparency, limitless colors, chemical resistance, diversity in physical properties, combined with processing ease, make PVC versatile to applications as embossing, printing, thermoformed or sealed.

Rigid films. -

Is a product designed for different applications. Applications requiring chemical resistant, moister barrier properties, high temperature impact, and FDA requirements for packaging of food and pharmaceutical products.

With this products line, blister pack materials can be supplied to several industries, such as pharmaceutical for tablets and capsules, discs, audio and video cassettes and endless other applications.

Other products applications are used for cooling tower, packaging, decals, flower boxes, displays, ID and credit cards, binders, file folders and toys.

Product applications are very diversified, and each product is demanding of its own specification, not only to product usage, but also to customers specific process.

Semirigid films. -

This products, are available in products lines such as crystal- clear semirigid films combined with engra-vings, coated finishes, skin pack film, and films laminated with fabric or other substrates, such as electrical tapes.

The product lines of ipisa for these applications include stationary goods, ring binders, documents envelopes, and sheet protectors. These products all require excellent appearance, thickness control, lay- flat and low dimensional stability.

Wooden- finish film. -

They are offered with a wide variety of custom designs and colors. Primary application is construction to particle board, and lamination to various other substrates. The product consist of a stamped base film, laminated with high abrasion transparent film, which is chemical resistance. It is complemented with scratch resistance topcoat products.

Flexible film. -

It can be clear, whites, and opaque colors which can be embossed or smoothed to meet customer application. Applications, requiring heat sealing and slitching. Typical applications include, vinyl bags, covers, coating liners, clothing for children and infants, dielectric. Tapes, self sealing tapes, waterproof films, and medical applications.
