Hebei Metals&Minerals I/E Corp.

Founded in 1974, Hebei metals and minerals import and export corporation is the largest one specializing in the import and export of metals and minerals within the province. With an annual export volume of 62 million u. S. Dollars on machinery and electronic products, we have also been the largest exporter of our province in this field over the years. Every year from 1999 to 2001 we were granted "advanced exporter of quality and profit" of Hebei province. Ever since 1989, we have been ranking among the 500 leading import and export enterprises in China.

O ur main business scope: Import and export of:

Steels, metal products, minerals, construction materials, chemiclas, rubber products, light industries products etc. Approved by the ministry of foreign economics and trade in 1995, our business scope has been extended to:packaging, Textiles, garments, cereals oils and foodstuffs, native produce and animal by-products, medicines and health products, arts and crafts, tools for industry and agriculture, and transportation equipment. We established our own production base and have manufacturers in all the fields above which can supply the qualified products with competitive price.

I n 2001 our import and export volume reached 162 million us dollars, with sales to more than 100 countries and regions all over the world. We have registered 45 trademarks in China and abroad, including 3 customs recorded,2 bar codes. "g" brand and "golden pagoda" brand are famous brands of our province and have earned high prestige in domestic and overseas markets. For better participating in international competition and a wider business scope, we maintained memberships of many organizations including China chamber of commerce of metals, minerals and chemicals importers and exporters(cccmc), China chamber of commerce for import and export of machinery and electronics products(cccme), China chamber of commerce for import and export of textiles(ccct), China chamber of commerce for import and export of light industrial products and artscrafts(cccla), China chamber of commerce import and export of foodstuffs, native produce and animal by products(cccfna) as well as international magnesium association(ima) and international vermiculite association(iva).

W e have 407 employees altogether.78 percent have got associate degree and above,13 persons have got senior professional titles. We also have 3 lawyers and consultants. In the year 1999 we accomplished the internal system reform according to "the corporation law". Now the corporation is composed of the headquarter and 5 companies: Wuzhou co. Ltd. Wuxin co. Ltd. Wuxing co. Ltd. Wuyue co. Ltd. And Longsheng co. Ltd.
