Guangdong Textiles Import and Export Corporation (Group) was formerly China Textiles Import and Export Corporation, Guangdong Branch. We are one of the first specialized companies engaged in foreign trade after the founding of the People's Republic of China.

Through 50 years of development, we have grown into one of the most influential Chinese foreign trade groups, a leader particularly in the trading of textiles and garments in South China.

For many years, we've ranked high among the top 500 Chinese companies in terms of import and export volume. We have not only been designated by the Guangdong Government as one of the largest local key enterprises, but also treated by the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation (MOFTEC) as one of the 100 most promising enterprises.

As an organizer of international trade, we generated in 2000 a total business turnover of US$380 million, of which 320 million are for exports, 10 million for imports, and 50 million for domestic trade. In the first half of 2001, our business continues to grow, and our trade volume has registered a 1% increase compared to the figure in the same period the year before. Our exports have increased by 14%, and domestic trade is about the same as it was the year before.

We mainly sell our products to North America and Europe. At the same time, we have established extensive contacts with partners in Asia, South America, Oceania, and Africa.

We have been rated by the Chinese Customs as a Class A enterprise.
