Ceramital is based in Stoke-on-Trent, England and supplies technology and consumables for the digital printing of ceramic transfers in a clean office environment without the need for screen printing. The system allows for the economic production of bespoke transfers which would not be cost effective by conventional means. All the hardware required is available at relatively low cost throughout the world. The inks are high temperature stable allowing them to be used in a conventional decorating kiln. Transfers are finished with an overprint laminate which is applied dry allowing the decals to be applied immediately. Ceramital supplies all the necessary know-how together with the all the consumables required for the manufacture of a ceramic transfer. Whilst a knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or similar would be an advantage, users of the system can be producing their own ceramic transfers with just a few hours of training.
