Company profile:
We would like to take an opportunity to introduce our company, presently working in the line of pesticides formulation and marketing.
We are registered importers, formulators and traders duly approved by the federal and provincial government and have a countrywide distribution network. The chief executive of the company served the biggest pesticide multinational company in Pakistan for 25 years. Similarly,45 sales team members worked in various multinational companies. All team members have vast experience of pesticides marketing. They are all post graduate from agricultural university, faisalabad, Pakistan.
Our company has a big range of insecticides, herbicides and fungicides. All the pesticides registration originated from China, Greece, england and UAE. Now, we are working on new chemistry pesticides, nutrients, hybrid seed and spray equipments etc.
We started pesticide distribution business in january 1997 and our sales in year 2001 were around rs 600.00 million(us$ 10.00 mio). Previously, we were doing business as distributors and getting pesticides from local importers. In february 2002, we established our own formulation plant with the name of agrolet chemicals industries with the investment of about rs 100 million(us$ 1.70 million). It has been designed to ensure safety for workers and to have minimum impact on the environment. We strictly observe all safety measures in the factory.
To maintain and achieve a high standard of quality we have installed latest equipments/instruments in our quality assurance laboratory, imported from us, France, UK and Germany. The chief chemist worked for 22 years as senior chemist in one of the large multinational pesticide company in Pakistan and got training in glp and most sophisticated equipments from Switzerland, France and Germany etc.
We have aggressive plan for bulk imports in coming years for direct sales to farmers through our own distribution net work and sales to other distributors.
Future plan:
1) basic manufacturing unit for pyrethroids
2) granules formulation plant.
3) wettable powder(wp)/soluble powder(sp) formulation plants
