AshTek Corporation is a manufacturing company focused on the environmentally sustainable utilization of coal combustion by-products (CCB's) produced by coal burning electric power plants. AshTek's strategic mission is to become the leading commercial supplier of Hollow Ceramic Microspheres or Cenospheres that are separated from the ashes. Cenospheres are used as valuable additives to industrial applications such as oil well drilling, ceramics, plastic, paint, coatings, building products, and electromagnetic interference.

Roger Foster, its Chief Executive Officer, has ten years experience in the CCB marketplace and has a wealth of market knowledge, trade secrets, patentable products, and exclusive raw material sources. AshTek has the team, the technology, the expertise and the strategic vision to become the world's leading supplier of this important product.

AshTek has spent years studying the current methods and processes associated with the removal, cleaning and drying of CCB's. AshTek is developing a unique process that can economically clean cenospheres of contaminants and reduce them to uniformly sized hollow ceramic micro-spheres. AshTek's technology will achieve higher quality and consistancy in terms of cleanliness, size, distribution and particle uniformity.

Roger W. Foster - President

Roger is a team leader with 36 years experience as a successful entrepreneur. He has eight years experience with fly ash, industrial technology and innovation. Also in finance, construction, real estate development, architecture, marketing, and management. His greatest skill is motivating a team to accomplish goals beyond what was thought possible.

James Wyse - Vice President, Engineering and Technology

Jim comes to AshTek following an eleven year tenure at Vicor Corporation, Andover, MA.

As Senior Project Manager at Vicor, he lead teams in developing new processes, technology

and the equipment to manufacture Vicor's leading edge DC to DC power converters. Integrating

personnel from the Product, Manufacturing, Quality, and Process Engineering groups in delivering

products from concept to the customers application.

He recieved an Engineering Degree from the University of Maine. He brings AshTek 25yrs.

experience in Custom Equipment Design, Process Development, Project Management,

Manufacturing and Quality Control.
