Avenida Nueva is a Sustainable Development Initiative. Born in 2003 and formerly operating under the name MetaFlora, the Organisation has been experimenting with sustainable projects in Costa Rica. As architects and designers we wanted mainly to explore the benefit of modern bamboo technologies. As project makers we create tropical dreams in harmony with nature. The Founders decided each to take care of the aspects they enjoyed the most. MetaFlora gave origin to Aveida Nueva, which collaborate with The Bamboo Institute, especially dedicated to modern bamboo structures and styles. On the other hand Aveida Nueva collaborates with an Italian Based Service devoted to Natural Materials: Casa Natural. As trade agents we support the exchange of environmental products from and to any market.
