Our recent launch of this product in New Zealand has been extremely successful and we now look to export and supply this excellent product worldwide. With the relative small size of New Zealand (4.1 million people) our results from a minimal sales force have been outstanding. The following points of consideration should be taken :
▪ 90% of Tile Trade outlets in New Zealand are very small – catering for 5 to 15 tradesmen.
▪ In the first 5 weeks we covered approximately 70% of the country. Of 70 outlets approached – 55 placed orders (= 78% ranging achieved).
▪ Total of 474 units sold into these 55 outlets (an average of 8.6 units per outlet).
▪ Total selling days in the field – 1 person, 18 days.
▪ Average wholesale price to retail outlet NZD$62.95 + gst.
