Optcore’s OPC2488-XX40XCR are high performance and cost effective OC-48 SFP CWDM fiber transceiver module. It is designed to meet SONET OC-48 / SDH STM-16 and 1x/2x Fiber Channel application. The OC-48 SFP CWDM fiber transceiver module consists of five sections: the LD driver, the limiting amplifier, the digital diagnostic monitor, the DFB laser and the PIN photo-detector.The OC-48 SFP CWDM fiber transceiver data link up to 40km on 9/125um single mode fiber. There are 18 central wavelengths available for this OC-48 SFP CWDM fiber transceiver: 1270nm, 1290nm, 1310nm, 1330nm, 1350nm, 1370nm, 1390nm, 1410nm, 1430nm, 1450nm, 1470nm, 1490nm, 1510nm, 1530nm, 1550nm, 1570nm, 1590nm and 1610nm. The SFP CWDM fiber transceiver is compatible with Small Form Factor Pluggable Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and support Digital diagnostics function specified in the SFF-8472.
