To overcoming the shortcomings of plasticizers and CPE mentioned above, we developed a new type impact modifier ACM which is a copolymer of HDPE and acrylic acid. The ACM not only has the basic feature of CPE, but also has higher impact strength and lower glass temperature comparing with CPE, so its impact modification effect is more evident than CPE.
