KR AH36 shipbuilding Steel Description:
KR AH36 steel is a kind of high tensile strength marine steel. All of these steels have been engineered to be optimal long-lived shipbuilding steels.As with other grades of steel, they have a specific gravity of 7.8. Higher-strength KR shipbuilding steel comes in 12 grades of 3 strengths, AH36 is one of the grades. The KR AH36 grades have yield strength of 51,000 psi (355 MPa), and ultimate tensile strength of 71,000 - 90,000 psi (490-620 MPa). All the KR AH36 shipbuilding Steel offered by BEBON steel can be certificated by Korean Register of Shipping (KR) as per customer’s request.

KR AH36 Shipbuilding Steel Application:
KR AH36 Shipbuilding steel plates are mainly used for making the offshore oil drilling platform, the hull of ship building and ship repairing, the platform pipe joints and other components. KR AH36 Shipbuilding steel plates also can be used for producing container and bulk cargo vessels as well as cruise ships, ferries and yachts.

KR AH36 Steel Grade Specification:
Thickness: 4mm to 260mm,
Width: 1200mm to 4000mm
Length: 3000mm to 18000mm.

KR AH36 Shipbuilding Steel Chemical Composition:

Main chemical composition in KR AH36 steel is carton max 0.180, silicon 0.1-0.5, manganese 09-1.6, phosphorus max 0.035, Sulphur max 0.035.

KR AH36 Grade Ship Steel Mechanical Properties:

The min Yield is 355Mpa, the tensile is 490-620Mpa, the Elongation is 21%, the Min Impact Energy is about 40J
