Drag bits also named blade bits ,with TC inserts on the blade.

They are usually designed for use in soft formations such as sand,clay or soft rock.

Their uses include drilling water wells,mining,geothermal,enviromental and exploration drilling.

Usually drag bits are three wings,while sometimes four wings or five wings.
