| About us | Withtek is a leading Korean manufacturing firm in the arcade game machine industry, specializing in various redemption (punching, kicking, dancing, etc.) and prize vending (bingo, shooting, etc.) games. Our company was established in 1988 and we have been a market leader amid keen competition in the development and revival (since the 1997 Asian financial crisis) of the Korean game industry. Sept. 2. 1997 UL Approval (E167655) obtained. July. 5, 1998 Prize vending game machine announced ('Pineapple Bingo'). Over 40% of the market share in Korea captured. Feb. 20, 1999 Company expanded; new R & D center established and head office moved to larger quarters. Nov. 12, 1999 Dance game machine exhibited at COEX '99 show. Nov. 30, 1999 Dance game machine announced ('Tap Dancer'). Exported to Central and South America, including selling in domestic market. Aug. 9, 2000 Redemption (Punching) game machine announced ('ZZang'). Nov. 3, 2000 Patent for Punching game obtained (Reg. no.0210230). Dec. 17, 2000 Redemption game machines exhibited at COEX '00 show. Dec. 18, 2000 Designated as a Prospective Small & Midium Enterprise. (Military service-exempt company) Jan. 22, 2001 New redemption (Punching) game machine announced ('Vie Zzang'). June. 20, 2001 New redemption (Punching) game machine line announced ('Vie Zzang -1, 2, 3' series). Over 80% of the market share in Korea captured. Aug. 8, 2001 Prize vending game machine announced ('Multi Bingo'). Exported to Southeast Asia, including selling in domestic market. Nov. 7, 2001 Various game machines exhibited at COEX '01 show. Dec. 19, 2001 New redemption (Kicking) game machine announced ('Shooting Power'). Over 20% of the Korean market share captured. Dec. 22, 2001 New prize vending (Shooting) game machine announced ('Gun Man'). Feb. 15, 2002 New redemption (Slapping) game machine announced ('Ssadaegi') Jan. 22, 2002 Patent obtained for Karate-style striking games (Reg. no.0263211). Mar. 8, 2002 New prize vending or medallion dispensing game machine announced ('War Zone'). June. 30, 2002 Various game machines exhibited at COEX '02 show. Aug. 2, 2002 New redemption (Karate-style striking) game machine announced ('Hidden Zzang'). Over 80% of the market share captured in Korea.
