| About us | Taza foods pvt. Ltd. Came into existence more than a decade ago as a snack food manufacturing plant. Taza supplies innovative food products to producers and distributors that are already in the food market and desire to enlarge their product range. The plant has a capacity of producing 60t per month and is the only plant in the world that manufactures poppadums by continuous process using best equipments manufactured by ray khart(holland)and sottoriva(italy)the technology has been developed in-house. The production lines are completely automated and are highly versatile and flexible to meet the most varied requirements. Technologically speaking they represent the most modern and up-to-date facility offered in the market today. This plant is capable of manufacturing any type of sheeted product, which could be dried or cold stored. The main features of the plant are: 1. mixing section: The mixing section comprises of 120-kg high-speed mixer imported from sottoriva italy. This mixer mixes the dough to the desired levels. In the manufacture of poppadums, mixing plays a very important role in the final product quality. 2. sheeting section: The sheeting plant is imported from ray khart(holland)the plant consists of extruder rolling system(three-rollersystem) where in the dough is fed after passing through the metal detector. The dough comes out in the form of a thick sheet which is then fed to two gauge roller systems to achieve thickness from 0.3 to 1 mm depending upon the product requirements 3. cutting system: The desired thick sheet is cut into various shapes and the scrap is collected and returned to the mixer. This is done to achieve more homogeneity in the finished product. 4. pre-dryer: In the pre-drying section the product is exposed to air, with temperature of approx.50-60 deg. It provides dryness to the surface of the pellets. 5. continuous drier: Product after pre-drying process enters into a continuous drier wherein the temperature and humidity are controlled through air blowers and heat exchangers. The product is dried at various temperatures and is passed through 12 conveyors, which are placed at an equidistant of 6 inches. 6. cooling conveyors: After getting dried, the material is passed through cooling conveyors to reduce the temperature to ambient conditions. Pellet is an intermediate product that can be transformed into a very high value added finished product. Taza manufactures dried pellets based on potato and rice that expand on frying in a range of possible shapes and formulations to allow different combinations to be offered. Potato based pellets: Taza offers four different shapes of potato based snack pellets namely; circular discs(rounds)triangle, rectangular(stix)and square(nibbles)round shaped pellets also come in internal spices like red and green chilli. All pellets offered by taza can have internal spicing upon request. Rice based pellets: Taza offers two different shapes of rice based pellets namely; nibble and rounds. Presently, we offer internal flavors like red chilli, jeera chilli and jeera in rounds. The rice-based pellets can have customized internal flavoring upon request. Poppadums: They are made using urad pulse, edible starches and oil, and flavouring. It is known for its high nutritional value and is rich in protein. Poppadum has achieved an international acclaim of being one of the most desired health foods. It can be roasted or fried and can be had with meals or as snack food. Taza manufactures poppadums in 20mm,1.5inches,2 inches,5 inches and 7 inches round sizes with internal flavours like black pepper, punjabi masala spice, garlic, cumin seeds, green chilli, red chilli and many more upon request by the client. |
