| About us | Our present In 1990 usg was registered as a joint-stock company. Management is carried out by the general manager appointed by the general assembly of shareholders, and it establishes the main strategies in all important areas such as finance, trade and marketing, technical aspects, quality, environment and overall corporate strategy. These strategies are carried out by the executive managers with the support of all our personnel. Uzinele sodice govora is the biggest manufacturer of soda products in Romania. Exports cover 20 countries worldwide, meaning 80 % of production. Faced with constant pressure from competitors and the changing needs of the market, the marketing and research teams of u. S. G. Seek to identify the precise requirements of the customer in order to develop together products, which will meet consumer expectations. Expectations which include performance, reliability, and low cost. Therefore we developed our production not only for the industrial market, but also for the consumer - goods market. In 1999 we have commissioned a monohydrate dense soda ash plant, taking into account our main customer needs, the glass industry. Our marketing policy is dedicated to fully comply with customer requirements and satisfaction. We struggle to maintain our present markets while we try to conquer new stable markets. Quality policy is entirely based on customer complete satisfaction. Export market At present our exports represent 80% of sales. Our products are sold over 20 countries in eastern and western Europe, north and central Africa, middle and far east and south America. |
