| About us | the Bombay-based URR Media Syndicate (URRMS). I have been a writer-Journalist (English) during the past 15 years in Bombay. After the initial experience as full-time writer-Journalist I started URR Media Syndicate in 1996 to help the media houses outsource their requirements. I represented National newspapers such as The Free Press Journal and The Deccan Chronicle, on my way to becoming a full-fledged Mediaman, having been thorough with writing, editing, rewriting, proof-reading etc. -- all on the computer screen by 1993 (When computerisation was barely introduced in Bombay media). Later I joined Corporate and trade publications such as Fortune india, Business Newsweek leading up to the launch of the URR Media Syndicate. URR Media Syndicate (URRMS) is an 8-year-old Media syndicate which also helps media and corporate establishments outsource ther editorial needs, small or big. URRMS was started with an aim to help small-budget publications --both mainline and trade-oriented-- outsource at a fraction of their original cost which normally covered staff salaries, bonuses, other administrative and overhead costs. URRMS started with the following clientele: Touchdown India, then the only publication recommended by the Government of India for NRI investments, Mid-day (corporate section), Dalal Street Journal, Assignments Abroad Times and a couple of smaller ones. Today, URRMS serves clients of the repute of The Electrical India, and The Industrial India and a few others having completed contracts with Gratex Industries Ltd (Newsletter job), Exim Newsletter in the recent past. |
