Threads Of The Andes
About us | There are approximately 150 members who are all highly skilled in the art of knitting. These skills are past down through the generations from mother to daughter and from grandmother to granddaughter. The women are continually working to improve their skills so that their art can be slightly modified to appeal to an international market. The women work togetether, communally in their respective bases. The communities range from very rural to urban developments. With a vast network of artisans, production capacity is high enough to produce for serious importers. |
