| About us | Tamarindo Heights is located in Costa Rica at Playa Tamarindo, 50 minutes away from Liberia International Airport and three minutes away from Tamarindo airport or just 40 minutes by flight from San Jose. Tamarindo is the premier beach community in Costa Rica's Northwest province - Guanacaste. Centered with a stunning one and a half mile white crescent beach, Tamarindo is usually the first stop on many visitors' itineraries and with good reason. It's a real town with a dynamic international community of artists, writers, photographers, travelers, surfers, and sun-worshipers. A vibrant beach community with 58 restaurants, nightclubs, hotels, shops, yoga retreats, galleries, spas and a full assortment of recreational opportunities. Tamarindo is located between two river mouths creating a very special and energetic environment that everyone seeks. The project incorporates four phases. The first phase, currently under development, consists of 51 home sites for single-family homes and the Garden Plaza. Its design is based on the ancient culture of Feng Shui, which combines nature with objects and buildings to create a pleasant and balanced environment. Upon entry to Tamarindo Heights you will see a crescent shape entrance, with waterfalls, fire and other elements of nature ready to welcome you. A large serene lake will greet you with two beautiful water features together with a palm tree island. From the impressively designed entrance you will be led through a lush tropical landscape with two waterfalls. The Garden Plaza is a commercial center that will include 29 shops, a luxury spa, several restaurants, a supermarket and banking services among other facilities. It has been designed in a Pacific-Balinese style that combines the harmony of nature with elegant design that includes ample areas, flowing water and lush foliage. The subsequent phases will include a Beach Club, a Club House and a Boutique Hotel with 51 suites on the top of the hill with excellent ocean views. Each room will have a private swimming pool and a Jacuzzi. The Beach Club offers our members the use of a swimming pool, restaurant, bar, wet bar and BBQ areas. The Club House will offer a variety of indoor recreational activities, such as fusbol, a pool table and nearby tennis courts. Construction We have invested in high quality infrastructure, we are installing underground facilities and services: electricity, telephone system, high-speed Internet and Cable TV. We have installed 80% of the electrical and telephone boxes. The roads will be made of paving stones. The curb and gutter on the first phase is 90% completed. The water systems (black water, pluvial water, potable water and anti-fire system) are almost complete. The potable water system and black water system are completely installed; the anti-fire system and pluvial water system are 20% from completion. We care about the environment In Tamarindo Heights we care about the environment, we are a 100% eco-friendly project, thus we have built a sewer treatment plant. This treatment plant will convert black water into a non-polluting water. This treated water will be used in the irrigation system of the project. The remaining material from the process will be used as a plant installment, these residuals have no scent. The trees that need to be cleared to build the Commercial Center will not be cut down, they will be transplanted and used to enhance the landscape in another area of the property. We have all the permits of law for the construction and have obtained the necessary facilities for the services of electricity and potable water sufficient to supply all the project needs.
