The products of TIS are primarily used in Steel Industry for measuring temperature of the molten metal and for the chemical analysis of the metal during its manufacturing stage. From a modest beginning in 1987, TIS today has an installed manufacturing capacity of 3,00,000 units per month of its products with ambitious plans for the future. The manufacturing facilities of TIS is located in Panvel, about 30 kms for the metropolis of Mumbai – India’s commercial and trade capital and is in close proximity to the country’s busiest airport and seaport. TIS is amongst the select few manufacturers in the world having a fully integrated state-of-the-art in house facility for producing paper tubes that are used with the Thermocouple Tips and Immersion Samplers. The Thermocouple Tips are manufactured using high accuracy Platinum and Platinum-Rhodium wires under strict quality controls. Consistent high quality of our products, dedicated efforts of the technicians and superior service levels have earned TIS a reputation as the most reliable supplier for the large number of integrated and mini steel plants and foundries in India and abroad. Today a large number of satisfied customers in India, South East Asia, Asia Pacific and Middle East stand testimony to it. THERMOCOUPLE TIPS Thermocouple Tips are manufactured in ABS and Ceramic models. With in-house manufacturing of Paper tubes TIS can offer Thermocouple Tips to meet all the specifications of the customers. A stringent quality control all through the manufacturing process ensures accuracy of temperature measurement and consistency in the final product. The tips are available in calibrations of Type R, Type S and Type B. Thermocouple Tips are available in the calibrations of: Pt / Pt – 10 % Rh (Type S) Pt / Pt – 13 % Rh (Type R) Pt – 6 % Rh / Pt – 30 % Rh (Type B) The Thermocouple Tips are manufactured high accuracy Thermocouple wires procured from the best names in the industry. The Thermocouple wires conforms to the ITS 90 standards and is in fine diameters ranging from 0.04 mm to 0.07 mm. LOLLIPOP IMMERSION SAMPLERS Lollipop Immersion Samplers are used to take instant representative samples of the molten metal for chemical analysis and study. Samplers are available with de-oxidants like Titanium, Zirconium and Aluminum and are also made available without de-oxidants. Samplers are made in round and oval shapes and also made available in double thick shapes. Paper tube for the samplers is made as per the customer’s specifications for length. ACCESSORIES The accessories include Contact Blocks, Receptacles, Connectors, Housings, Compensating Cables and Lance Assemblies. The parts of the lance are made from seamless Stainless Steel (SS) or Mild Steel (MS) pipes and are as per customer’s specification. The compensating cables are heat resistant and are available as per customer’s requirement for conductor size and the insulating material.
