Suchan bakery satarted in early 1999 to meet the needs for her growing demand. Suchan registered trademarks in Singapore and Malaysia since 2002 and 2003 respectively. It is also a registered franchisor with Malaysia Entrepreneur Development Corporation (MECD)since 2004. Suchan is a member of Malaysian Franchise Association (MFA), Branding Association of Malaysia (BAM) and Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE). Suchan's chef and founder, Ms. Sue Chan was recognized by the Food & Hotel Industry and voted as a finalist for the Entrepreneur Personality Award in 2003. She was also nominated for the most Innovative Woman Entrepreneur award in 2004 by the National Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Malaysia (NAWEM).
