| About us | As the main direction of the center was determined the elaboration of new and revision of existing normative-legal documents, carrying on the scientific engineering works on prioritized directions of the communication sphere development and others. In 1995 at the scientific engineering center(sec)was accredited the certification body of technical equipment of telecommunication, and in 1996 was accredited the certification exploiting center. Along with elaboration of normative-legal documents and carrying on the scientific engineering works, sec also governed and take part in modernization and reconstruction of the telecommunication nets in: Fergana region(1994)sirdarya region, bukhara region, andijan region, and tashkent region(1995-1996)in 1997 the sec was registered as the basic certification body of uzbekistan and as the basic metrological service of the field. In august of 1997, the ministry of communication of the republic of uzbekistan was liquidated and was created the communication and information agency of uzbekistan. The scientific engineering center was transformed into the scientific engineering and marketing research center, and owing to this the sphere of activities of the center was extended. In 1998 the semrc started to publish the sphere monthly journal "akhborotnoma". Was started the works on elaboration of projects of the laws of the republic of uzbekistan "about telecommunication", "about post communication", which was adopted in the sessions of oliy majlis of the republic of uzbekistan, august 20,1999, august 31,2000. At the semrc also elaborated the laws of the republic of uzbekistan "about informatization"(newedition), "about electro commerce", "about digital electro signature", "about electro document circulation". From the moment of creation of the center were elaborated nearly 500 normative documents of the sphere. Scientists and experts of the semrc take part in actions of several commissions, study groups, created for solving the actual problems of the sphere. At the present time semrc carries on the researches on following dominant fields: Telecommunication nets and services' convergence; controlling of the telecommunication nets; inter-net connection and traffic pass of the various types of services of the telecommunication; informational security; protection of labor and safety measures; standardization; metrology and certification; marketing researches; tariff policy; informational technologies and services; electromagnet compatibility; post communication; cryptography and cryptanalysis; monitoring of acting normative documents; quality system; software development; introduction of ict terms to the native language; introduction of the renewable energy sources; software elaboration and ets. |
