Sccl was created in december of 1983 in sarh, chad and later moved its offices to n'djamena in 1986. Sccl is the pioneer of arabic gum trade in chad;starting with only 2 tons of gum in the early years, sccl now exports close to 5000 tons per year. Sccl is committed to promoting arabic gum trade while helping to improve the lives of the rural producers. In addition to trading arabic gum, sccl also trades bee's wax, hibiscus flowers and sesame seed to its trade partners in Nigeria, India, France, the United States and elsewhere. Sccl is interested in continuing to enlarge its business partnerships and is committed to continuing to improve its services. Sccl is proud to be the only arabic gum trader in chad that has installed an automated gum cleaner and sorter for kitir quality (grade one) gum.
