| About us | Sanghar Exports is a part of the old and established business houses in Pune, engaged in various activities. Sanghar Exports is the responsible for the International Business of the group with annual sales of US$ 20 million. The total annual revenues of the group are $75 million, which include marketing of polymers, constructions essentials, agricultural commodity and property management. The group was established back in 1920 by Late. Mr. Manglasdas Venichand Shah. The head office is situated in Pune, and branch offices are in Bombay and Chennai the two major ports of India. The entire team consists of 200 people spread all over the country leaded by the directors of the company situated at the head office. Sanghar Exports ranks among the top ten agricultural exporters of India and enjoys the status of being a Government of India recognized export house which is a privilege for a few. Sanghar Exports is the largest exporters of Indian onions to various parts of the world and possess expertise in export and import of agricultural commodities. The present markets of the company are spread in the whole of Asia, few countries in Europe and America. The main products exported are onions, potatoes, rice, wheat, sugar, various oil seeds, pulses and spices. The firm is also actively involved in import of various pulses and fruits from different parts of the world. We also source different commodities from all parts of the world due to strong relationship with business house all over the globe. Presently we had diversified into consumer packing of onions, all kinds of spices and a few oil seeds. We have the required infrastructure to delivery high quality products to consumer at competitive prices. Our existing infrastructure provides the necessary flexibility to deliver the above commodities in different sizes as per the requirements of the market. Our core competencies are excellent customer service, prompt deliveries and high quality products. The total volume handled annually, domestically and exports are to the tune of 150000 metric tonnes. The company has well established infrastructure facilities like equipped plants/warehouses for storage, repackaging and quality control of products for exports. The company also has a hi-tech packaging plant to facilitate exports of consumer goods. We share excellent rapport with Government bodies like National Agriculture Cooperative Marketing Federation of India, National Consumer Cooperative Federation of India, State Trading Corporations of India etc. The other activities of the group involve marketing of petrochemicals, wholesaling of construction essentials and warehousing. We have a hi-tech warehousing complex which is leased out to multinational corporations. |
