STARFISH EXPORTS
| About us | Plant, has 20 metric ton block freezing capacity, and 6 ton blast freezing capacity per day. The capacity of the cold store is 150 metric tons and if needed additional storing facility is available with in three kilometers distance. We have own flake ice machine(20metric ton), water treatment plant for 2 lack litters of water per day, integrated pre processing center with 75 skilled workers and they are experts in processing cut crab, pealing cuttlefish&squid, h&g ribbon fish, king fish, tuna etc. Lab with experienced haccp trained staff is ready for all quality control activities. Trucks, four insulated trucks are kept ready for bringing raw material from landing places other than our suppliers vehicles. Purchasing, we purchase directly from landing place 70% of our purchases, this is to keep the fish fresh and avoid too much handling. We keep workers in landing places to pack in layers to avoid breaking and belly bursting, and directly bring the raw material to the factory, this gives an edge over our competitors in quality. We have 75 pre processing workers and 40 workers in packing section. Shipment, we have house stuffing facility available in our plant, after loading we cool it to(-)18degree, so there is no chance of defrosting in transit. We supply about 1000 to 2000 metric ton ribbon fish,600 metric ton cuttlefish,400 metric ton of shrimp, now we plan to do more tuna, king fish etc to other destinations. Cut crab, we are expert in cut crab processing. Our integrated pre processing facility help us to produce high quality cut crab, which we market in korea. King fish, tuna, we are interested in developing these business also. Tuna is a latest item in the export basket of indian marine products. We are really interested for the buyers of these items, mainly yellow fin, and skipjack. Products 1.
