| About us | The whole operational area of the factory is air-conditioned with double glazed windows for reducing heat radiation as well as sound proofing. The weaving prepratory machines used are of highly efficient with good quality output and a very low level of waste generation. The weaving of the silk fabric is performed with high speed rapier automatic looms, the product which is comparable to international standards. The two types of looms I. E. Dobby and jacquard can produce stripes/checks and floral design patterns respectively. The designs for jacquard are made in-house using sophisticated CAD systems and state of the art card punching machine. The fabrics produced are inspected on a eletro mechanical controlled inspection machine which also measures the length of the fabric on every roll. The dyeing of the yarn is done on a computer controlled italian hank dyeing machine. Due to this color variation between batch to batch is almost nil. The woven fabric goes through a special process of decatising which improves the feel of the fabrics. Certain fabrics are polished on a polishing machine to give extra sheen. The water for processing of silk is obtained by treating the raw water through "reverse osmosis" water treatment plant which aids for better dying of silk yarn. The wate water from dyeing is treated by a well designed effluent treatment plant. The treated water is reused in the R. O. Plant. |
