| About us | Our company is a state-level key high-tech enterprise under "Torch Program", one of the top 100 Chinese private enterprises, a foreign-invested technologically advanced enterprise, a high-tech enterprise and one of the top 60 private enterprises of Guangdong Province. Now we own 14 subsidiaries engaging in the development, manufacturing and sales of communication terminal products, including China Electronic Communication Technology Co., Ltd., China Electronic Aosheng Mobile Communication Technology Co., Ltd. and Huizhou Qiaoxing Telecommunication Industry Co., Ltd. At present, we have 6,341 employees, with 45% holding university degree or above. We have established 3,500 sales outlets at home and abroad, and our products have been exported to over 20 countries and areas. Our products mainly include telephone sets, wireless smart, fax machines, GSM mobile phones, CDMA mobile phones, walkie-talkies and electronic toys. We are engaging in the industrial design of communication terminal products, and develop, design and manufacture of molds and mike heads. We produce annually about 10 million telephone sets, wireless smart, fax machines, repetitive-reading cassette players and walkie-talkies with over 200 models. Our mobile phones have over 20 kinds of models, and its annual output and sales volume is nearly 2 million. In 2002, we realized output value of USD380 million. We have established "two parks and one base" in Huizhou, which is used to manufacture the electronic information products, having facilities of a total area of about 1 million square meters. The first science industrial park has facilities covering a land area of 125,800 square meters and greening area of 60,000 square meters. Its standard factory buildings and supporting facilities cover an area of 100,000 square meters. Telephone sets and supporting products are mainly produced in this park. The second science industrial park has facilities covering a land area of 100,000 square meters, where fax machines and walkie-talkies are mainly produced. The CECT mobile phone production base has facilities covering a land area of 666,000 square meters, where GSM and CDMA mobile phones and supporting products are mainly produced. At our headquarters, there is a communication terminal product research center having facilities covering an area of over 1,500 square meters. We have also set up three mobile phone R&D centers in major cities including Beijing and Shanghai, meanwhile keep good R&D cooperation with many famous universities. We have always emphasized on technological development and our products have been constantly upgraded. We invest 10% of the sales profits into scientific research each year. In 1992, we manufactured the first telephone set with liquid crystal display in China. Then we developed digital cordless telephone (DECT1920 model) with international standards, webphones, hearing aid phones, short message services, the first mobile smart phone in China, many models of GSM and CDMA mobile phones with functions of GPRS, FM radio and MP3 and medium / heavy rare earth metal.
