| About us | Further expansion was made in 1974 in adding production facilities to manufacture rubber printing and coating rollers. In october 1977 this company was incorporated and renamed "pt rolman" and full diversified production of various kinds of rubber rollers needed by the various industries here, such us: Plywood industry; Tinplate/steel sheets and galvanised iron sheet industries; Tinplate/metal sheet coatings; Aluminium and plastic tube printing and coating; Offset printing rollers; Paper coating and varnishing; Rotorgravure and flexograph printing; Leather industries; Paper industries; Paper and pulp mills; Other industries according to customer's specificatin. In the year 1980 a new plantsite was chosen in the cibinong area, aprox.40 kms from Jakarta with a total area of 15,000 sq. M. On september 1981 the new factory started production and the old factory in bandung was closed as it is considered too far away located from the main markets and raw material suppliers. At present moment we can manufacture rubber covered rollers with maximum diameters of 630 mm and face length of up to 4,500 mm - or 6,000 max total shaft length. In the year 1997 production facilities were expanded by adding new units of compression moulding machines and other processing equipments to diversify our production in adding moulded industrial rubber articles in large quantities. Our moulding capacity, which includes rubber compound processing, is approximately 75,000 kgs/month. We accept rubber mouldings in large mass production quantities, as well as specialty small quantity special mouldings. We have various automatic compression mouldings presses, ranging from 15,000 kgs; 50,000 kgs; 250,000 kgs and 350,000 kgs presses. Our rubber compounding facilities compromises of: Laboratory mill, two roll mixing mills, two roll warm-up mills and kneaders, and the necessary laboratory testing equipiment. Elastomer types Currently our company processes various elastomers to satisfy diverse demands on rubber properties, such as: Natural rubber (nr), Styrene butadiene rubber (sbr), Acrylonitrile butadiene rubber (nbr), Butyl rubber (iir), Polychloroprene (cr), Ethylene propylene rubber (epdm), Silicone rubber (si), Special formulated rubbers. Hardness range We do produce rubber compounds in the hardness range of shore-a 25 to shore-a 99 with various properties. Summary The rapid development and availability of a wide range of materials and an expertise in rubber technology for more than three decades, has made it possible for pt rolman to develop varied compounds required for the processes and application in the various industry here and abroad.
