| About us | The factory is located about 16 kms from the South Indian city of Salem. Salem district is a major cotton growing area with a few spinning mills supplying yarn to fabric manufacturers. Therefore, raw material is available locally and hence productions problems do not arise. Transportation cost for raw materials is negligible. P. T. Govindaraj Tex& Co is a family run enterprise and all the members of the family are engaged in production. They have developed expertise in fabric design and can respond adequately to any kind of trade enquiry. Because, manufacturing is done with family members and close relatives, labour cost is also minimized and the benefit is passed on to the buyers. The managing partner of the firm is a young entrepreneur who has vowed to expand the business by undertaking export of textile fabrics.
