Projeto Comex
About us | She is a great admirer of the Baroque of Minas Gerais and has successfully rescued the mood and the spirit of that period: sometimes happy and festive other times dim and discrete with its strong colors, arabesque outlines, strips and contours, with surface finishing rich in colors and shapes. Each piece of furniture is entirely handcrafted, including the knobs and hinges molded and handcrafted, from rough iron. One by one the furniture is painted, using a polychrome painting technique, consisting of the application of successive layers of colors, and decorated with a variety of themes such as birds, angels, fruits, flowers and vases; motives of the local Baroque. Finally, each piece is meticulously treated to show aging and ware and to take the final characteristic of functional and decorative objects, without affecting the harmony, grace, and ingenuous traces of an epoch, that fortunately was not vanished with time. |
