DR.D.V.R. PRAKASHA RAO is a Ph.D in Animal Nutrition with an experience of about two and half decades, working as an Expert in Animal Feeds both in India and Abroad with national and international organizations. He has identified animal protein as the most critical feed nutrient in the feed industry and also visualized about the limitations on the use of fish meal and other source of proteins because of their severe bacterial infection, inferior quality and uncertain availability. Thus the concept of manufacturing meat and bone meal as an ultimate source of animal protein from meat offal and bones was conceived for industrial implementation.
