| About us | PIONEER entered into the Foundry Industry in 1976 with an installed capacity of 6000 TPA. It is a modern and mechanized foundry located near Tirupati, about 140 KMs from Chennai. Ever since its inception in 1979, we have constantly developed and improved technique to make reliable products to meet the demands of all our customers. Over the years Pioneer transformed to a respectable size of 9000 TPA today The Company's track record of spectacular achievement peaked with a turnover of Rs.1,355 lakhs in 1993-94. PACL is all set to strengthen its market position further with plans to expand activities to double the present operations. "At Pioneer, we are continually striving to redefine ourselves to address current and future customer requirements. This involves operation, information technology, employee training, and involvement. The following current issues describe some of our efforts. " Oct.1998 Commenced another foundry unit with an initial capacity of 10000TPA, with a special focus on exports of automobile and industrial OEM castings, apart from catering to the additional needs of existing customers. Oct.1998 Green Sand Molding Technology is employed in both units, wherein the sand is processed in high-speed intensive sand mixers, supported by on-line sand control facilities. March,1999 Achieved certificate of ISO 9002 through TUV and the certificate are valid until 2002. The Factory is coupled with the commitment, workmanship and innovative spirit of dedicated personnel, enables PIONEER to produce world-class castings that meet the most stringent technical and customer specification. This results in successfully responding to the individual requirements of each and every customer, thus ensuring total customer satisfaction. PIONEER diligently introduced and stressed TQM(TotalQuality Management) process. The quality consistency in our finished castings and the resulting customer satisfaction bear testimony to this commitment. At Pioneer, we firmly believe that quality does not cost but pays, and we have practiced this faith in every casting that reaches the customer, trials and difficulties not withstanding. Hence, the company has doubled the present capacity by setting up its second foundry unit at Gummidipoondi, about 40 KMs north of Chennai. |
