| About us | Pearl Fish Processors (U) Ltd. is located on Mizra Road, Plot 19/21 Entebbe Industrial area about a kilometer from Entebbe Town. The plot covers an area of 0.7 hectares. Pearl Fish Processors (U) Ltd. is a privately owned company that was incorporated as a private Limited Liability Company on 10 May 2001 as required by the law of Uganda. The company currently employs 135 personnel including Management, Technical and Support staff. We have 50 years experience in fish smoking, salting/drying, whilst in the Democratc Republic of Congo since 2002. We have had ample experience supplying frozen Nile Perch Fillets to local United Nations personnel. The Company is involved in the processing of cured products from freshly caught Nile Perch (Lates niloticus) and Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) from the fresh waters of Lake Victoria. Pearl Fish Processors (U) Ltd. is a small sized company with installed capacity of 10 MT per day of raw material and flake ice production of 800Kg per day. Our products for export include salted / sun-dried and smoked Nile Perch and Nile Tilapia. Our major fish export markets include European Union and Democratic Republic of Congo; hence we comply with their stringent fish quality and safety standards. Department of Fisheries Resources, the regulating body in Uganda, approves our Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point Quality Management System for food safety. |
