| About us | Brazil exports tropical forrage seeds(SH 1209.29) to various destinations, mainly to tropical and subtropical areas in Central America and South America. Now we are looking for the posibility of starting selling to alternative importers. "Our seeds, seeds of forage plants for sowing, are grasses used for creating pastures". The company thats supplies Pantanal Trader is Sementes Safrasul, our partner in foreign trade area, also from Campo Grande. Safrasul is a company that has been operating in production, processing, and trade of certified seed for pasture since 1987. They have clients throughout Brazil, mainly in the Midwest, Central America and South America. The company is a partner of the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation(EMBRAPA)Cattle Departament(CNPG)in multiplication and trade of tropical seeds. The company is also one of the parteners of Unipasto, an organization for promotion of research into tropical forage plants. The scientific names of the main species produced by Safrasul are: Brachirias, Panicuns and others varieties seeds, used to feed bovines, ovines, goats and horses. Apart from forage seeds, starting in november 2004, Pantanal Trader is also going to export cattle. We are working with a large and recognized brazilian cattle breeder, whose office is in Campo Grande, state, where is located the main brazilian cattle herd. The forecast is for export production of a large quantity of excellent quality of Girolando females to many countries. Girolando breed is basically the result of crossing between the Hosltein breed and Gir. Girolando females are mainly, milk producer with a very efficient performance in tropical and subtropical areas. |
