Founded in 1991, opti was originally a brand name for UPS products under the viewsonic group. In the late 90's, opti separated itself from viewsonic, and eventually became an independent corporation with the same board of directors. Due to the fast changing industrial and economic conditions, opti was transformed from a purely manufacturing company into a marketing oriented company, focusing on market needs and customer service.
