| About us | In 1986, we started operation in mosaic production sector as a limited company. We knew that endeavoring and intense work would lead us to success. By sustaining our determination and hard work we acquired criteria required by the sector and established NIGTAS Mosaic Construction Mining Agriculture Export and Import Limited in 1996 as a family business and started calcite production. The raw material area is about 900.000 square meter and raw calcite production is 1000.000 tone/year. We have succeeded in creating a widespread marketing network in Turkey and broaden our distribution channels as a result of well-organized marketing research. We have doubled production to meet market demands. We started meeting the raw material demands of the factories producing calcite by extending our reserve. Our diligent work and marketing network have encouraged us to enlarge micronize calcite production, consequently, we increased our micronize calcite production capacity by early 2002. The covered area of the factory has reached 5000 square meter. The capacity of micronize calcite production, NIGKAL trademark, has reached 250.000 tone/year. We aimed to increase our sell by establishing contact with dye, paper, plastic, leatherette, artificial marble industries and the sectors using calcite, then we achieved our goal in a short run. After reinforcing our domestic market we headed towards international market. Nigtas Ltd transports products itself with the help of its own fleet. Currently, our calcite production is 2.000.000 tone/year. The second calcite production facility that is under construction and whose % 60 percent part has been completed is going into action in 2006. In this way the production capacity will be 400.000 tone/year. It has been proved statistically that the whitest and the most quality calcite reserves exist in Nigde. So the quality and the whiteness are reflected by our company S calcite mines. Recently, as an exporting company to many countries at present, our works focusing on international markets have been continuing to expand our sell. The success we have achieved in the sector as Nigtas Ltd. Is the evidence that we will be a leading company in Turkey and in the world. Additionally, our company has been taking part in agriculture by commencing to grow short apple, cherry, walnut and peach in 600.000 square meter with the most modern technics since 2001. It has bought fruit since 2003. By using the-state-of-the- art and sophisticated systems and dripping irrigation system, it has became famous in the sector and started to export fruit to European countries. |
