| About us | Operator of the nnpc/epnl joint venture rc2979 Introduction and outline scopeof work/contracts. The Nigeria national petroleum corporation/elf petroleum Nigeria ltd joint venture intends to build a 400mw gas fired combined cycle power plant in obbite, rivers state Nigeria and a high voltage over head transmission line for evacuating the produced power to phcn grid. The plant will be based on large combined cycle gas turbine of proven technology, and provide the best industry standard performance and life cycle cost. The hv line, about 90 km long including it's associated hv substation connection equipment to phcn grid ill be for excluusive transmission of the power generated from the plant to the national network. Nnpc/epnl wishes to anounce to major gas turbine equipment manufacturers/major engineering companies/individual with requisite experience to tender for engineering procurement, construction & industrial suppliers& commisioning of plants with guaranteed performance and shedule. Th nnpc/epc contract in respect of the work/contract/supply package is summarised below: (1) supply of 4000 laptops computers for staff use. (2) complete civil works construction for all the plant including foundation, sound atternuation enclusures, structures, bunds, drains and pre-construction work as required. (3) Supply of 1800 Protectors Set And Safety Helmet: -protectors sets, safety helmet, safety goggles, dust masks, chemical masks, ear, leahter working glove and Safety shoes/boots. (4) long term service agreement (ltsa) to cover for maintenance of the gas turbine and ancillary equipments. (5) supply of 2500 GSM hand sets for staff use. (6). Supply of 3200 office Portfolio with computer compartment and organizer. Contractors/engineering companies. Individuals will be selected through a full technical and commercial evaluation of the proposed. Epc contracts plant and of it's associated proposed long term service. Agreement (ltsa) covering maintenance of the gas turbines and ancillary equipment.
