Patination is applied on the surface of the stone with wire brushes and the softer parts of the natural stone are smoothly carved out while the harder parts resist the pressure of the wire brushes. This leaves the surface of the stone uneven, as if it has been worn down with time. This type of application is also called antique. 3. Tumbled travertine and marble tiles: 4 x 4,6 x 6,8 x 8 and 12 x 12 all in 3/8 10 x 10,15 x 15,20 x 20,30.5 x 305 cm all in 1 cm thickness and mostly used for wall cladding in wet areas(kitchensand bathrooms). Sizes:16 x 16(406 x 40.6 x 1.2 cm), and 16 x 24(406 x 61 x 1.2 cm) are also available.
