He soon discovered that every where he went people would ask if he did voice overs. Figuring that he should "give the people what they want, " he enrolled in private voice over lessons with the late, great Barbara Gill. This proved to be useful, not only for his voice over career, but for his on-camera acting career as well. The technique of voice over is to communicate entirely with the nuances of the voice. To accomplish this, one must go beyond mere technique and into the realm of feeling emotion. After many years solely as a voice over actor, that background helped him get his break with the NBC hit sitcom "Boston Common" playing a character named (of all things) 'D. C. '. Many more film and television roles followed, but he always has kept one foot firmly planted in the voice over industry. Recently he has been seen in several films and guest starred on "ER", "NYPD Blue" and "Las Vegas, " to name a few. Now, whenever he's between TV and film jobs, D. C.
