All the grinding sizes are controlled in a tolerance of + micron on wmw(germany make grinders) and is finally inspected. Heat treatment plays a vital role in the functioning of u. J. Cross. Hardness testing of every piece is done after rough grinding and case depth is checked after heat treatment of every lot to ensure strict control over heat treatment problems. Final inspection: Final inspection and packing is done in a dust proof air conditioned environment as there should be no dust inside the cross when it is finally packed. A complete set of gauges and instruments has been given to the quality control inspectors in the packing section for strict quality control at final level. |
