The mission of JACO is - To enable the customers to get state of Art Exquisite Hand Embroidered Bridal Dresses as well as to indirectly help and promote the hand embroidery artisans and their immediate family members through JACO managed/sponsored group insurance schemes (health/life), Soft loans for education, health care, marriage & housing etc. as well as ensuring payment of fair wages for unique artisan work shall be the mission of JACO. - To preserve, promote and propagate the Zardozi and Aaree work fine art Hand Embroidery form by inducting digital Computer Aided CAD-CAM Designing options and increase the range of products through innovative Broad basing. - To standardize quality & increase output efficiencies by providing better training and guidance like posture lighting besides Hygienic/Healthier working environment. - To help the artisans economically by eliminating as many middlemen as possible between the End User customers and the artisans. Artisans are exploited due to the lack of education, reach and lake of business acumen besides absence of exposure to modern business tools like Telecom, Net. Banking etc. - To improve the lot of Zardozi & Aaree Embroidery Artisans by providing better, healthier and modern management and productivity enhancement tools like Standardization, Digital Designing, On Time Delivery, Use Of Quality and Standardized Materials as inputs. - Training/Retraining Seminars Workshops, Productivity, Efficiency Enhancing Progress and Quality Design Competitions with a view to Increase Efficiency as well as productivity through functional transparency in all operations, Credibility in the artisan-end user interface, Ease of information Dissemination, Interactive and Effective Communication between Artisans and End User, Single-Window solutions for all Embroidery Needs, Improved efficiency in service-delivery systems, community linkages. The Objects of JACO are : - To promote, preserve and propagate the ethnic, traditional fine art, craft and skills of such ARTISANS and their family members which are engaged in Hand Embroidery work within the state of Uttar Pradesh in general and ZARDOZI, AAREE, LUCKNAWI CHIKAN & MUKAISH in particular. - To raise funds for/by carrying on business activity on No-profit No-loss Basis and to accept voluntary contribution(s)/assistance & subsidy etc., so as to promote all-round general welfare amongst the target group i.e. H.E.A. (HAND EMBROIDERY ARTISANS) by starting, supporting and supplementing such activities which increase PRODUCTIVITY, EFFICIENCY, QUALITY, VALUE ENHANCEMENT by imparting of continuing training & education for skill development, increasing the awareness about working conditions for better health and hygiene. |
