Iridian was founded in 1998 and has invested heavily in development in order to provide advanced technology at very competitive prices. A high degree of automation ensures high quality, low cost products. During the period October 2000-April 2002, the company was a wholly owned subsidiary of JDS Uniphase. However, in April 2002 a management group bought back control of the company and it is now a completely independent company.
