| About us | With the huge success already achieved in polymers accross the world, our management, going on the forward integration path, decided to export value added products - the PE plastic carry bags, PP woven bags/fabrics& fibc/bulk bags. Almost since one year that we are in the export market of value added products, we have become the largest exporter of hmw HDPE plastic bags, PP woven bags/fabrics& fibc in india. We are catering to the requirements of overseas traders, whole sellers, and also plastic bag manufacturers. To name a few of our reputed clients we have in our clientele codefine, zakkencentrale, interjute, cotesi, louis blockx, eurea, ibersaco, enduma, and many more to whom we have supplied millions of bags in this year. With the recent development in our value added exports business, where several plastic bag manufacturers themselves have started purchasing our plastic bags to compensate their very high cost of production, we are approaching various plastic bag makers in europe for considering us as their job worker for various plastic related products viz. Bags, liners, injection molding items etc etc. Haldia petrochemicals is the latest entrant in india with a product mix of 750kta of polymers and 450kta of petro-chemicals. In polymer, hpl has a capacity of 500 kta of polyethylene(lldpe and HDPE from latest generation montell technology swing plant and mitsui cx process respectively) and 250kta of polypropylene from montell technology. We commenced our exports in the year 2000 with mainly polyethylene grades and now we are also exporting PP homo raffia, pp-icp(im)& rcp(bm) grade in the near future. In polyethylene our major grades of export are hmw-hdpe film(bi-modal type), bm, im-lmi& hmi, raffia, mfy and pipe, LLDPE film 1&2 mi with various additivation package and both types viz. C4 and super butene/hi- performance type, roto moulding etc. This value added exports idea evolved mainly with the intention of developing downstream projects in the state of west bengal where we are situated. We have already entered into agreements with renowned domestic plastic bag convertors to whom we supply our hmw HDPE film grades/PP homo raffia grade. These convertors in turn convert these polymers into plastic bags under strict quality guidelines as stipulated by our ardc(application research& development centre), and regular intermediary samples drawing for various tests also by our appointed inspection agency.
