People behind the Gnomon telescopes are the ones who started the Dobsonian telescope revolution in India in mid 80's. Hardcore amateurs turned professional telescopes makers who have made a definitive mark in the industry. Pioneers in the field of big telescope now have turned once again back to the telescope market with better optics and not just telescope but so many things, which one requires along with these telescope. The largest telescope made by amateurs in India is one of the projects we undertook. Apart from telescope making, we at Gnomon do event management in astronomy in corporates, Residential Welfare Associations, design and implement astronomy related material/modules with our in house R&D team.
