| About us | Geltex uses its own raw materials in the processing of collagen, guaranteeing freshness and origin control. All source material is bovine hides from mid-western sourced animals. Hides have been determined by the FDA to be the safest source material for collagen available. Raw materials are processed through a series of proprietary steps including washing, enzymatic hydrolysis, and a series of filtration steps. The product is then spray dried and agglomerated to a white powder. Geltex collagen is low in ash, high in transmittance (clarity in solution) with excellent solubility in cold water. In addition to bovine collagen, geltex has the ability to research and develop other collagen products to meet our customer needs. Fish, egg, chicken and pork collagen may be manufactured in the future at our geltex facility. Geltex strives to produce quality products and provide outstanding customer service.
