| About us | The following are the broad strokes for the design of the system that I am looking to have produced. The system will be used as a video intercom in small luxury residential buildings. All units will be essentially an IP Video phone with the apartment units and the lobby unit on a LAN. The Lobby unit will ring the apartment unit and allow the apartment resident to view the guest in the lobby but not allow the guest to see the resident in the apartment. Once the guest has been verified visually the resident will have the option of opening the lobby door by pressing *7 or a custom button that we design. Pressing *7 or the custom button will signal the lobby unit that will have a relay board in it and that will close the normally open dry contact thus powering up the door lock and unlocking it. The lobby unit will have our integrated touch screen, this will enable a guest to scroll through a list of apartments or names and when that name or apartment number is pressed the system will dial the corresponding IP address thus calling the apartment unit and allowing the resident to see who is in the lobby. Additional features desired that ability for the phone if no one answers to be able to leave a video message, as well as to display a message on the screen from management when the resident arrives home. The Video IP Intercom phone should only have 6 or 7 buttons showing. Three 3 or four of the buttons would essentially be speed dial buttons allowing the apartment resident unit to call and connect to the lobby IP Video phone intercom as well as one located in two other public areas like the vestibule. The two other additional buttons would trigger the unlocking say the front door and the inner lobby door. My programmer will need to work with your team to interface our touch screen technology and drive the units from the touch screen. The lobby unit should always be the larger screen format.
