| About us | History Since 1995, Computer Science Center University of Indonesia (CSC) has been interested in digital security and electronic commerce technology. Supported by RUT 6 (6th Integrated Best Research), CSC created a Special Interest Group (SIG) named Digital Security and Electronic Commerce Research Group (DSEC). This SIG focused the research on Digital Security, Smartcard, and Electronic Payment System. Results of the research are Secure Electronic Transaction Merchant Server and Wallet Application Prototype, Healthcard System, Anonymous Credit Card Protocol, Trusted Applet for Smartcard, etc. DSEC also cooperate with Law Faculty University of Indonesia to create Indonesian Digital Signature Framework. As an IT Consultant, CSC has an experience in Management Information System (MIS) field for more than 10 (ten) years. To fulfill market demand for electronic commerce solution provider, CSC decided to establish DSEC as a spin-off company. In September 1999, PT. Electronic Commerce Indonesia Saranacipta is established as a private company with CSC as a major shareholder. This increases Ecomindo's capacity in doing business activity and allows us to have the latest technology developed by CSC research group. Ecomindo’s management team is composed of highly qualified and committed people, abscessed for quality and customer satisfaction. As a technology based company, human resource is the most important thing. Our professional engineer has been experienced in many digital security and electronic commerce research and commercial project. Some of them are doing a research on the university. To achieve the goal, Ecomindo cooperate with both another business entity and academic research group. As a spin-off company from university research, Ecomindo try to achieve excellence both in business and research. Ecomindo focused in providing solutions for electronic commerce and its supporting facility.
