| About us | Dyneema fibre has excellent properties with regard to the strength, weight, UV stability, safety, abrasion, tension fatigue, bending fatigue. A.. Strength: Dyneema has a slightly higher strength than a steel wire of the same dimension but less than one tenth of the weight. B.. Safety: Dyneema has a very low elongation( 2 - 3 % at break ). It stores little energy and has therefore little backlash - even at hundreds of Tones of load. We provide excellent solutions for the replacement of traditional steel wire with that of the Dyneema ropes for towing applications.
