In addition to making hundreds of websites, and providing hosting and domain naming services has also created software for web content filtering, HTTP compression, self-managed websites, and many custom made managerial software for several prevalent firms in the area. In 2003 Digita S. R. L. Took advantage of its technical knowledge and extensive network of partners and reseller to create a specialized branch for the distribution of hardware and software in the Italy and EMEA called diDIS. It is divided by business unit and offers the follow services and solutions: Analysis and consultancy for the implementation of new network software and hardware solutions. Development of web-based applications, portals and multimedia websites. Outsourcing of internet services: Connectivity, secure email, web hosting and guaranteed search engine positioning. IT security and vulnerability analysis, antivirus solutions and content control. Development and implementation of managerial software and productivity software for small to medium enterprises. Distribution of security and storage hardware and software in Italy and EMEA through diDIS Some of Digita's clients include Telecom Italia, Generali Insurance, many Italian Ministries, Stonefly, Acegas, and many more. DiDIS staff has kept updated on storage and networking technology through practical application and is capable to support partners for even the most complex installations. We also supply top of the line security products. Until now in Italy, the idea of IT security has been limited to firewalls and antivirus solutions which have virtually saturated the market. Although we also distribute those ever-important tools, such as web and email content security, secure data and network management, access control, document security and encryption, change monitoring, and data integrity in the Italian B2B market. In addition, the many new Italian and European laws passed in recent times requiring companies to maintain a certain level of network and data security have enhanced the demand for the range of products we distribute. |
