Deccan leather fashions was established in 1990 since then we have been catering to trendy and classical fashion markets of european countries. The vision of the organization is to 'be a leader of quality leather garment manufacturers'. Our mission for 2002, is ' to achieve a defect free production with implementation of ISO 2000/total quality management'. Our objective is 'to understand and meet the quality requirements of individual customer'. The company has set three main parameters for recruitment - 1) ability to work in team,2) problem solving attitude and 3) work values and ethics. In order to assure quality of the finished product, we have a positive recalling procedure, wherein the production is not merely controlled at finishing stages but checked for quality at all stages of manufacturing. We have technicians trained in italy to assure quality on our products. Also, technicians from italy, germany and austria monitor the quality on production lines for their respective customers. All the employees are provided with the customer specifications of each and every model in order to achieve the goal. We make follow-up visits to our customers frequently, in order to get feedback on our supplies. The responses from our customers are analyzed in meetings with our senior executives and relevant vendors in order to address and rectify the quality problem, if any. We have three production floors measuring 3500 sq. Ft each for cutting, sewing, finishing and packaging. The established capacity is 8000 garments per month. We employ 300 workers and have installed 200 juki sewing machines. The company is putting all efforts to nurture and develop human resources through different training programs and seminars thus, providing an opportunity to enhance their career growth and standard of living. The company has been ensuring cordial working environment for all the employees to enable them to get maximum job satisfaction. |
