| About us | Since Jul-2001, the foreign partner has transferred their share to Vietnam National Tobacco Corporation (Vinataba) and the new Danang Tobacco Company Ltd. (Datoco) was established from that day. Datoco is a state-owned company, was established as a limited with 2 state-run partners and operates according to Business Law issued by Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Datoco is Enterprise-member of Vinataba and has been put under management of Vinataba. In 1995, Our company was established and operated according to Mother company R. J. Reynolds - a International Tobacco one. Therefore, all processing and Q. A procedures have been handled at international standards. Our company is located in Danang city, at 16 parallel of latitude, in Middle of Vietnam. This location is very comfortable for traffic. The city has international Sea-Port with unloading capacity of 10 million tons/year. There are presences of international formal agencies of cargos to Japan, Korea, Hongkong, Thailand, S. E. Asia... Such as Heung-A Shipping Lines, Steamers Feederships and to EU, USA, AUS, South Africa, South America... Such as Mitsui O. S. K Line, APL, P&O Nedlloyd, Hapag lloyd, Hyundai Shipping, Hanjin Shipping Lines, OOCL, CMA-CGM, Maersh & Sealan (APM) Evergreen-Uniglory, NYK, Yang Ming Lines... Beside, there are international air port, railway station. Transportation by land is advantageous with forthcoming exploited Trans-Asia Road. We target to develop tobacco cultivation areas, to speed up processing and export tobacco products. However, our processing line is rather modern with large capacity. Therefore, we are looking for manufacturer contracts to exploit full capacity of the line and to take full advantages of priority from government's policy in this field. Our stemmery processing capacity is 4,000kgs/hour. Cigarette making output:10,000packs of 20's/hour. The average temperature in Danang is 22-32 C, altitude:5-7m, average humidity - 83%. Surrounding with a range of mountains and Danang Bay, Sea-port wasn't under influent of typhoon and monsoon seriously. Otherwise, there is available 14.000m2 of warehouse moistureproofed which was designed and built by American experts at international standards. |
